Hello! So glad you stopped by! First off, this is a lifestyle blog encompassing nutrition, fitness and the journey to finding true happiness. If you want to join me in this exploration I would LOVE the companionship!

I want to begin with a little background to explain my purpose. I have spent the last 2 years living in the hustle and bustle of one of Americas finest cities- BOSTON. What I have learned living there has truly changed my perspective on life in such a great capacity that I wish to *shout it to the world* and so I write on :)

If you have ever visited you may have enjoyed a game at Fenway, a duck boat tour, a picnic at the Public garden under the blossom trees (ohhh its heavenly), read a good book on Copley square, rode the T, shopped on Newbury street, felt the cool, salty breeze off the harbor or found some of the best Italian food & pastries in the North End. I grew up visiting this special place and basked in the historic charm, brownstone coziness and dreamed of living in such a lovely place.

Two years ago when my husbands acceptance into grad school brought us back to the east coast, I was ecstatic about the adventure. It really was a wonderful experience that I am so grateful for, but there are 2 things I learned while living there: Bostonians are STRONG, Courageous, PASSIONATE, STICK-to-it-ive  people (and really BAD drivers) and that I will always have a special place in my heart for Boston, but I am a country girl (and it's kind of ironic that it took city living to really make me realize that),

With these two lesson learned- I have this *ticking* desire to live a life more courageously, passionately, enduring to the end and doing it all with a BRAVE heart! ohh and move out to the country, because my two kiddos deserve a yard ;)
